    I had a personal webpage for quite a while now which has many visitors each day. Lately a managed to build a small website but I am having trouble getting visitors. Google didnt even indexed it. Tried with links on my old page but doesn't quite work. I need a way to automatically redirect those visitors to my new site. Please help.

    Rename your index.html in case you need it in the future.
    Create a new blank index.html file .
    Insert this redirecting html code after <HEAD>


    <meta HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" content="0; url=http://www.yourdomain.com/index.html">[/color]

    in case you want your page to appear in search engines then you can try submitting your page to Google: www.google.com/addurl.html and AltaVista.com: addurl.altavista.com/addurl/new

    That's the best idea, a simple index.html page with a redirect code. 

    Be aware though google hates redirects!
