canada ferry

last year we were visiting Canada and rented a car. we went to the east coast and took a ferry but on the way back to the airport the ferry workers were not working. they were on strike. at first we could not cross and there was no other way around but the next day they used a crane to load our car on a transport boat used for shipping and bring us across. it was cool because the crane lifter our car onto the cargo ship which was not meant as a ferry.

luckily we made it to the airport in time to catch our flight home.
