Hotmail vs. Gmail

A year ago I switched from Hotmail to Gmail for my main email account because I was getting too much spam. Now my gmail account spam is growing. Anyone know of a good free email service with good spam protection.

Spam is everywhere right now the only way to get around it is to set up an email account that requires people to verify when they send you email. Basically anyone who sends you and email gets a message back that they must reply to before their original message goes through. The idea is that bots who are spamming will not reply and their original messages wont be delivered.

Yes I use an email provider with no spam. Its called Break Thru and it works. I had to move my email address to them but I havent got any spam since.

I also have a gmail address but I just deal with the spam, most goes to the junk folder.
